Before PSLE,
Finally it's over. I was only stress for the week before PSLE. I seldom revise before that week. Or maybe never revise.

During PSLE week,
English paper: Okay...
Maths: Very very difficult...
Chinese: Quite easy but my compo maybe out of point...
Science: Okay, quite hard
HMT:Very easy..(Too bad not normal MT)

After PSLE,
Very happy...Free man

Singapore Kindness Movement

To me kindness is lending a helping hand. It need not involves money.We can show kindness by just holding a door for someone to enter, it can also be shown by picking up something for someone.Kindness is very very important. Without kindness it would be disaster. For example, boarding to bus. If a person is kind, he would wait for the rest to board to bus before boarding him or herself.If the person is not kind, he or she would choose to squeeze into the bus pushing anyone in his or her way.

I think that Singaporeans are not very gracious. People would pretend to sleep or pretend using the phone in buses or MRTs when they saw people with disability. When it comes to kindness, i think Singaporeans can do a better job.

Complementing others when praise is due
Helping out whenever i can
Enjoy spreading kind massages around
Noting the help given by others

Keeping to one side of the escalator

Museum Trip

Museum Trip

Time really flies when we were there. When I first got there,my 1st impression was that the place was so hi-tech. I expected that the place was old and dirty. I did not expect it to be so modern. The most interesting things in the museum was the swinging lamps.It is very cool.

I am considered quiet fortunate that Singapore has only 40+years of history.Unlike China, it has thousands of years of history. I wondered how long it would take for me to remember those history of China.It is important to have a museum in Singapore. From the museum, i learnt how Singaporeans(our forefathers) suffered just to provide food for the family.

This trip was an unforgettable and enjoyable trip.

Earth Hour...

Earth Hour

I think that Earth Hour is meaningful. It teaches us why and how to save the Earth. It also let us know how important Earth is to us.

Earth Hour is held on the 28th of March this year. Actually, Earth hour can be held everyday.What we need to do is to cut down the usage of unnecessary electrical appliances; like computers, laptops...etc.

The purpose of organizing Earth Hour is to remind us that Earth is faces Global warming and we should contribute by stop wasting electricity.I think that we should join in the global effort. I will off the lights and stay in the dark for the 1 hour. If it is possible, i would want to the playground to play and enjoy the 1 hour darkness.

If everyone would to participate in this event and stop wasting electricity, Earth would not be facing the climate change now.

After Class Test 1

After Class Test 1

I got very low for my results, esp. chinese. But for some subjects, I'm quiet near to my target.

Now, the test is over and we can do nothing about it. But we can still work hard for the next exam. For me I'll do me revision. For my chinese, not only that i will read and understand the textbooks, i will oso slowly try to read the chinese newspaper:p

Despite the difficulty in Maths and Science, I am satisfied wif the result i get. But it is not the desired marks i wan to get. If i get this for my PSLE, I'll die. So, i have to work hard in order to achieve my goal.

Singapore Education System

Singapore Education System

I agree that Singapore is better than other country in international Science and Maths competition. But if we compare Singapore with United States in creativity, we will lose out to them. That also explain why Singaporean can't invent fancy electronic gadget like, handphone.

The strength in Singapore's education system is that Singaporean can do well in exam. Pupils might be nervous about the exam but they are well prepare.

The weakness in Singapore' education system is that MOE did not create many chances for pupils in Singapore to encounter hands-on work in Science where pupil have to set up experiments. Pupils have to do a practical test but with only that, it's not enough.

Pupils are used to doing papers and not spending their setting up experiments. Compared to other country, they spend their time doing more group work than doing papers. So, during competition, Singaporean can do better.

There are some parts that i like about Singapore education system but there are also some parts that i dislike. I like the system because the way that test is conducted is fair. What is written on the paper is final. I dislike Singapore education system because even practical test is conducted, it is only conducted once a year.

I think MOE should keep the education system this way. Just let schools conduct hands-on works during CA also.

Foreign pupils comes to Singapore to study because in Singapore, we can get a scholarship by studying hard and get good results in major exams. After having a scholarship, it is easier to get a good pay.

Other schools are imitating Singapore because Singapore's education system is not complicated.Other country might only some ideas from Singapore but not all. That means, Singapore's education system is not perfect. They might not agree in certain area.

Outside School Activity

Every Tuesday Friday , I will have tuition at a tuition center in BlK 344(the block i stay) from 7.30pm-9.30pm. Then on Saturday, I will have tuition at same place, from 2.30pm - 4 pm and 5pm - 7pm. (Saturday worst day)

Every Sunday, I will have soccer at Bishan ITE from 3pm-5pm.Sometimes, i will play tennis at my uncle's place.

The next step FOWARD

Sign... MY SA2 has ended. MY results are out, maybe not all. I did very badly in my exam. Maybe because i did not practise as much as SA1. My mark dropped from 90 to 65 in mathematics. If this carry on, i wish i wanna die. TO prove that i can do it, I'm going to work hard.

Now for my CCA, i stop track-and-field in around... i dont really know. I stopped as the national has ended. So, training has been cancel.

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I got 3rd in the long jump event. And got nothing for high jump. Actually i did not want to participate in the high jump event. I did not go for the test run because the PE teacher keep asking me to practise for my high jump.AHHH!!! SO sad so many things cannot do. AHHHH!!!

My dream school is Anderson Sec OR Victoria Sec. I aim for Victoria Sec as i can use my DSA(Soccer)(Outside school).But maybe cannot.AHHHH!!!

Beijing Olympic 2008

Finally Singapore has won an Olympic medal and its sliver. Thanks to our Woman's Table Tennis team, history is made. It has been 48 years since Sinagpore have won an Olympic medal.

The Olympics is originated in Greece in 776 BC. In Olympic, athletes from all over the world gather together to compete against each other. It also tests the athletes sportmanship. I have been watching the Olympics since it started. I like the watching shows that involves sport,esp. soccer. But i don't like the soccer in the Olympics.(dunno why?)My favourite event is the track and field events and the swimming events.Micheal Phelps is my idol in the Olympic. He broke the record of winning 8 Gold medal. He also broke 7 world record and 1 olympic record in the swimming events. I really hope that i can participate in the track and field events in the olympics.

I want to participate in this event because i like running and i hope i could break Usain Bolt's record of 9.69.

It is worth hosting the Olympics. It can attract many people to come to that country. It also bring fame to the country and it tells everybody that this country does exist. For example Singapore, not many people know what or where Singapore is on the map.

Sleepy Kids

Sleepy Kids

I sleep for about 7 hours a day. From 11pm to 6am in the morning. I think that i have enough sleep ,but if I play a lot the previous night, i will feel very tired the next morning. My parents wants me to sleep at 10pm. If i enter the room at 10pm , i still will play with my bro. Ha..Ha..I managed to get enough sleep as i do not do my homework last minute. I will try to complete my work when i home from school. If i really do not know how to do, i will wait for my parents to come home from work at night. I do not think that there is a lot of thing to do at home. I usaully do my tuition or school homework when i'm at home. Sometimes i listen to music on the radio, like now i'm listening.=) I will also watch some documentary show because my grandfather don't cartoons. That means he watches thoses shows too.I think parents should let us have or eat something that we want.

Cyber Bullying

I think those people who cyber bullys are those who bully in this real world. Those people who cyber bullys do not think twice on what they want to say. They don't care if they have hurt other people's feeling. They are engaged in cyber bullying because they want to vent their anger. It is easy to stop cyber bullying. I can stop cyber bullying by telling the bully to mind his or her words. If they did not stop, i will quit chatting with him or her. I have not been cyber bullied because i seldom go on msn. If in a game, the other party said bad thing, i will tell them to stop it. As for the victim, i wil tell them to cheer up and tell them to avoid talking to people who they do not know in a game.

Huh... so fast come back de. At marina bay , i enjoyed the most is the time spending with my friends. We laugh loudly, play like siao. The fireworks and the Black Knight rocks !!! Oso got MacDonald to eat . So shok! The fun pack design sucks but the thing in it rocks. Davian, Song Yang , Ramon and me always go mad went there's fireworks or when there is a perfomance by the Black Knight. Every single thing rocks accept when my apple pie expoded. AH......But nvm i still go MacDonald after the NE Show. I had a unforgetable day. SO FUN!!!!!

Trip To Korea (June Holiday)

A Trip to Korea

So sad!! I've came back from Korea. It is a school trip. I learn a fact that Korea was once known as "Corea" . We did many things there like going to DMZ Zone , climbing Mt. Sorak , going to Hansin Elementary School , going to Lottle World(Theme Park) , LG Science Hall , Sunbi Town, Kimchi School. We're surpose to go to Samsung Transporation Museum but there is no time. Actually we were surpose to go to Yongin Everland Theme Park but it was raining and in Yongin Everland it was all outdoor but Lottle World have some outdoor and some indoors. Oh ya! We also went to the World Cup Staduim in Seoul. I made a lot of freinds there. But it is Singaporean freinds . Hope I could go there again. Korea roz!!!!!!!!!!!

Food sold in the school canteen

The food sold in the canteen is... Still OK? My favourite is Curry Chicken Mee(CCM). Its only sold on Tuesday and Thursday. The rest of the day i will either eat some light snack in stall 3 and a can of 100 Plus. OR... The mixed rice in stall 6. THE CCM is delicious becos of the soup. Hope there is more option.

Sigh..I got demerit point for nothing. The green man was blinking and i crossed.Nothing wrong right? While walking it turn red.The marshal accused me for walking when it was red.I was really mad. Befoe that, i got a demerit point for standing in the middle of the road. I admit that i was wrong as i was talking with Yao Guo. He oso got the demerit point.I really enjoyed being a pedestrain.If i could go there again, i would want to be a driver.

My Ambition and dream

My ambition is to be a soccer player and represent Singapore. The reason I want to be a soccer player is because I like the thrill of soccering goals. I oso love crossing the ball but i don know y , LOL. I started to like soccer since i watch Man UTD playing.
I support that team as they play very well. The player i admired is Ronaldo. I love his dribbling very much.
I really hope i could kick like him.

Chinese New Year

There is something special on the second day of CYN. We were in my cousin house in Malaysia,Melaka. After our dinner, there are fireworks. My uncle bought them for 30 ringgit each.

"BOOM...!" the 1st box is exploded. Not long after, the police came. Luckily, one of my uncle's guest who is a higher rank policeman spoke to the policemen. After explaining,the police car drove off and we continued to light another box. Although the fireworks are not as beautiful as those in Singapore, I still had great fun.

My December Holiday

During the December holiday I went to Kualar Lumpur,Malaysia. My father drove us to see the Twin Tower. We also took a lot of photos of the Twin Tower. This is one of them. I am the third person from the left.

After those photo-taking ,we went in to shop at KLCC. I got myself a soccer ball as birthday present from my Dad. Cool Man!
